Following the success of his award-winning ABRSM Songbooks 1 - 5, Ross Campbell released a unique 'singing handbook' - "Singing An Extensive Handbook For Singers And Their Teachers" - in both eBook and hardback editions.

Campbell has connected all the dots across all genres and styles of music to produce a singing world-first: a groundbreaking, new, holistic approach to vocal-training, uniting multiple singing techniques with the latest in sound anatomy and physiology. The book is a game-changer for singing teachers, students and other singing professionals worldwide. No one has united and examined multiple methods of best practice singing techniques until now.

mia award ross campbellDue to his long association with the ABRSM, both as a mentor and an International Presenter on all matters related to Singing, ABRSM Publishing commissioned Ross Campbell to compile and write performance & study notes for the ABRSM Songbooks 1 – 5, which were published in 2008. All five volumes were an instant success with singers and teachers, and are already on their fourth re-print worldwide.

In 2009, Ross received the prestigious MIA award for ‘Best Classical Publication 2009’. The five-volume ABRSM Songbook series offers singers and their teachers an unrivalled choice of core repertoire from both the classical and musical theatre genres, as well as a rich collection of 60 authentic traditional songs from around the world. Also included in each volume is a CD of the piano accompaniments.

They can be purchased at all good music shops, as well as online from companies such as www.abrsmpublishing.com and www.amazon.co.uk.

Ross is always delighted to work with singers as their teacher and coach on the material presented in these songbooks, and he can be contacted personally from this website. He has teaching studios in both West London and on the Surrey/Hampshire border.
